Now they are expanding their Croatian team and are looking for a new colleague on a position:

Accounting Manager (m/f)
Zagreb

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervising Croatian general and tax accounting operations;
• Ensuring that accurate financial statements are produced in a timely manner;
• Secure that there is consistency in procedures and policies and these policies are appropriately set for the achievement of the overall goals and objectives;
• Management and development of the accounting team to provide maximum effi-ciency;
• Preparation and completion of all tasks associated with the monthly accounting and closing cycle of international subsidiaries within assigned deadlines;
• Interaction with the Controller as well as senior management;
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support for the senior accountant;
• Liaise with the Croatian Hydrocarbon Agency, the outsourced accounting suppliers, and external auditors;
• Collaborate in overseeing timely deliverance of audit schedules and general audit support;
• Reports to the CFO-Europe with a dotted line to the Global Chief Accountant Of-ficer.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimally bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of experience in administrative related jobs
• Experience working with Croatian accounting standards and tax regulations
• Proficiency in Croatian and English language
• Computer knowledge (proficient user of MS Office – Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
• Accountability and proactivity
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and resilience.
